Warren and Molly could use your help

Posted in Books, Molly Cochran, Warren Murphy on September 22, 2012 by sunnyjoedale
Warren Murphy and Molly Cochran could use your help with some promotion. The Temple Dogs and The Forever King were recently reissued with new covers, but because they’re a reissue, reviews from earlier editions on Amazon aren’t there. If they start selling more, Amazon would be willing to do some publicity for them. What you can do: 1) like the book (the little icon to the right near the customer review numbers); 2) write a review (or copy and paste if you’ve reviewed the earlier edition); 3) add a tag, or put a check mark next to the tags you agree with; 4) post something on Facebook, Twitter and/or Pinterest (when you hit that ‘like’ button there, a box comes up that will post something to one of those sites).

Anything that generates interest in The Temple Dogs and The Forever King will help publicize future books when they are published.

DestroyerCon Sept. 15, Virginia Beach, VA

Brian Murphy has posted a poll over at Facebook:

Are you interested in coming to a “DestroyerCon” event on September 15th in Virginia Beach, VA?

He’s trying to gauge interest.  Even if only a few people show up, I think the Murphys will schedule a small get together, with book signings, photo ops — a chance to meet Warren and other Destroyer fans.

Make sure to vote in the poll and leave a comment!

Savage Song

…is the title of Warren’s new Destroyer novella. It should be out on Kindle by the end of this month, if not sooner.

We’ll try to get the cover image and back cover blurb up here as soon as we get the go-ahead.

Brian was at our Dclub chat tonight.  Warren is close to signing the contract with the publisher, but he doesn’t want to name them until it is signed.  The publisher will be issuing the novels as ebooks and in print. In addition, Warren will be publishing novellas and short stories on Amazon’s Kindle.  We don’t have any information yet on how many new Destroyer works are scheduled per year.

We’re hoping that Warren will make an appearance at the Chat some Tuesday night.  More details on the exact date once we know.

Destroyer Books on Kindle

Posted in Destroyer books, Warren Murphy on May 25, 2011 by sunnyjoedale

Most of the Destroyer books’ rights have now reverted to Warren Murphy, at least through #131, we believe.  They will all be going up on Kindle and other e-reader formats eventually.  The first three books are up on Amazon now, at a bargain price of 99 cents:  Created, The Destroyer, Death Check and Chinese Puzzle.

UpdateMafia Fix and Dr. Quake are now available, also for 99 cents.

If you’ve been wanting to get your friends into the series, but didn’t want to lend them the books, if you’ve lost some of them, if you just want a copy for your Kindle, now’s the time to pick them up.

Also, if you want to help out, putting a review up there would be fantastic.  If they sell well enough, maybe Warren would consider reviving the series using Kindle.

The Other Beanstalk

If you’ve visited Warren Murphy’s blog (and if you haven’t, check it out now), he’s written about his series’:

For those interested in business stuff, though, I’ve put my various book series on vacation for a while.  Even the ongoing Destroyer adventures of Remo and Chiun are on the shelf.  That project however is still working its way through Hollywood and if the movie gets made — we’ll know this year — then, more than likely, the book series will be started up again.

He is keeping busy, however.  This weekend a local school performed “The Other Beanstalk,” a musical production written by his daughter Megan with help from her dad.  Thanks to Brian Murphy, we have a picture of the authors at last night’s show.
